What is a DNS Leak Test?

A DNS leak test helps determine if your network configuration is unintentionally leaking Domain Name System (DNS) information, potentially compromising your privacy. DNS translates human-friendly domain names (like www.example.com) into IP addresses for computer communication.

Performing a DNS Leak Test

1. Open the DNS leak test website and click on "Standard Test."
   
   
2. Check the displayed country on the result page. If it differs from the country where your server router is located, a DNS leak may be present.
